Local 613 Defined Contribution Pension Plan - Special Lack of Work Distribution Application
The Board of Trustees recognizes the financial hardships that many participants are currently experiencing due to a lack of work caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, your Defined Contribution Pension Plan has been amended to temporarily allow for a special one-time Lack of Work Distribution, up to a maximum withdrawal of $10,000, available through December 31, 2020. The Union Plus Scholarship Program
Since 1991, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $4.8 million to students of working families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education. Over 3,200 families have benefited from their commitment to higher education. The Union Plus Scholarship Program is offered through the Union Plus Education Foundation.
